In July 2023, Zhijian Hu is hereby conferred the title of honourary research fellow by SISS.

　　Zhijian Hu, a Research Fellow with a PhD in Management, serves as the Chief Expert of the National High-End Think Tank at the Chinese Academy of Science and Technology for Development (CASTED). Previously, he served as Deputy Director-General of the Department of Policy and Regulations and Inspector of the General Office at the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST). He also served as Party Secretary and President of CASTED. Mr. Hu has long been dedicated to the research and formulation of STI (science, technology, and innovation) strategies and policies, and has participated in the drafting of key policy documents.
